Meet Our Team
Scott Kareth, DDS
Dr. Kareth studied biology and chemistry at Northern Kentucky University before obtaining his Dental Degree from the University of Kentucky College of Dentistry in 1997. His skills and experience in cosmetic and implant dentistry have earned him numerous awards and accolades, including a fellowship with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists (ICOI) and the Misch International Implant Institute. He also holds a Masters of Prosthetics award from the ICOI. His meticulous clinical skills and warm chairside manner make it easy for our Marco Island patients feel confident that they are in good hands.
When he isn’t implementing advanced technology in our office, Dr. Kareth enjoys sailing and collecting antique dental instruments. Throughout the year he works with events like Dentistry from the Heart, the Halloween Candy Buyback, and Operation Gratitude.
Charles Wallace, DDS
Growing up with a Marine Corps Colonel as his father, Dr. Wallace spent much of his childhood traveling and living in areas like Hawaii. After receiving his business degree from the University of Florida, he operated a business abroad before returning to the states in 1991 to earn his dental degree.
His extensive postdoctoral studies have encompassed the fields of dental implant placement and restoration, TMJ and facial pain, LANAP, endodontic (root canal therapy) and cosmetic dentistry. He has studied with prestigious organizations including the Dawson Center for Advanced Dental Studies and the Misch International Implant Institute, holding memberships with the American Academy of Craniofacial Pain, the International Congress of Oral Implantologists, and the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation.
When he isn’t caring for patients, Dr. Wallace enjoys spending much of his time fishing, boating, and reading.
Yanelis Perez, DDS
Dr. Yanelis Perez graduated from Rutgers School of Dental Medicine in 2015 with honors. She is a general dentist holding proficiency certificates in:
- PRF and Phlebotomy
- Pinhole Surgical Technique Procedures
- Sinus Grafts, via the Pikos Institute
- Dental Implants, via DentalXP
- BLS (Basic Life Support), ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
- Airway Management
Dr. Perez speaks English and Spanish, and is licensed to practice general dentistry by the Florida Dental Board.
Nilo A. Hernandez Jr., DDS, DICOI
Dr. Nilo A. Hernandez Jr. completed his dental degree at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska in 1991. Since 1991, Dr. Hernandez has placed and restored well over 10,000 dental implants and has been achieving and maintaining an extremely high success rate.
Not only is he involved with the surgical aspect, but has always been involved with the restorative side as well. For many years, he has been teaching other dentists to become extraordinary with predictable results. As program chairman at two illustrious dental teaching clinics, he was instrumental in bringing Implant Dentistry to become mainstay at those centers and still is to this day. He has published numerous articles and been featured in many television and radio shows.
While being fluent in English and Spanish, he has lectured worldwide and given many thousands of hours of lectures on everything from surgical to prosthetic rehabilitations.
Nersymarth Rosa, Registered Dental Hygienist
Nersymarth has been a part of our team ever since she received her Dental Hygiene degree in 2011. She is certified in local anesthesia, and also holds a Certified Dental Assistant certificate with expanded functions. She loves interacting with our patients each day, and talking to patients about protecting their smiles. When she isn’t at work, she’s busy being a mom, and enjoys arts and crafts.
Danielle Kleiver, Registered Dental Hygienist
After becoming a Certified Dental Assistant in 1997, Danielle took her love for dentistry straight into dental hygiene school, graduating with honors in 2011. After 10 years in practice, she moved from Michigan with her family and joined the Bonita Dental Care team. She says she strives to provide the “ultimate patient experience” at every visit, from routine compassionate care during cleanings, to precise implementation of advanced technology like LANAP for our patients with gum disease.
Adriana Knaus, Registered Dental Hygienist
Adriana has nearly two decade of experience in dentistry, and we’ve been lucky enough to have her as part of our dental care team since 2012. She received her Dental Hygiene degree from William Rainey Harper College, and enjoys applying the knowledge she has gained to improve her patients’ quality of life. When she’s not at work, Adriana enjoys scuba diving, biking, swimming, and being with her family.
Meggan Bonilla, Registered Dental Hygienist
Meggan has been with our team ever since receiving her certificate as a dental assistant in 2009, and has since gone on to receive her degree in Dental Hygiene. Her favorite part about her job is getting to meet and interact with new people each and every day. She and her husband have a little boy, and enjoy spending their time at the beach and with their church.
