In those cases where the patient has an innate fear of the dentist, sedation dentistry can be used for minor treatments as well such as cavity fillings, teeth cleanings, or even having braces put into place.

The cost of sedation dentistry is rather expensive, and will certainly ncrease how much you will have to pay for a dental procedure. For some people, this cost is well worth the price in order for them to have their dental work done in an anxiety free way. Many times, any dental health insurance that you have will not pay for sedation dentistry, so you may have to pay the cost out of your own pocket.
